Jess and Nina have managed rental properties for 20 years and have converted 3 to short term vacation rentals four years ago, They are an Architect/Artist couple who parent 2 teenagers, teach skiing, manage their DIY mini ranch with horses/dogs/cats and essentially love their Colorado life. They want to share their special Cabin and Main Street apartments with their guests and are happy to direct you to great hikes/bike rides, skiing or just amazing dining experiences. This is the Roaring Fork Valley...aka the Aspen Valley, and it is rich with all kinds of activities....now a year round environment. Carbondale is the funky child of Aspen...what Aspen used to be. Every First Friday, our downtown Main Street opens its doors into late in the evening and it's the one party of the month that everybody goes to....that doesn't need an invitation!
Come be a part of this environment, if only for a weekend....or explore for a week...or a month. You will not tire and can restore yourself daily!
One of our guests, from Australia, says of their stay at the Cabin "My wife and I did a lot of road cycling in the area and we wonder if there is a better place in the world for it - the Rio Grande trail, the Glenwood Canyon, the roads out of Aspen and the Frying Pan, but also the many miles of enjoyable cycling on the Missouri Heights area itself, right out the front gate of this property. Carbondale is a great little town, shops at El Jebel are very good and a little closer for supplies. We'd recommend this area and this property to anyone and would definitely return if we are so fortunate"

This 2 bedroom apartment delights all who see it, fresh and contemporary with a huge fenced yard~views of Mt Sopris from the patio! Fully renovated - gutted to the studs, added skylight, redesigned layout, entirely new everything! Adjacent to a one bedroom apartment described below, if you want to enlarge your group. We've been doing this a long time, so we've thought of everything you'll need to make your stay total perfection! Luxury linens, W/D, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, BBQ, outdoor dining.....croquet for the little ones!

Easy access One Bedroom apartment ...park right outside and walk your things just a few steps to within. Sunny through the ample windows, each with wood blinds. Come home after a day of adventure to relax in your cozy living room with dine-in, fully equipped kitchen. Throw some steaks on the BBQ, lounge on the new patio, drink in the sounds of Carbondale. If town is calling you....many fine restaurants from instantaneous to a few blocks away. Really fine dining with a casual experience.
Ideal for a couple, but your kids can sleep on a very comfortable full sized couch, with cozy bedding. We wouldn't recommend this apartment for 2 couples as there is no privacy between the bedroom and the living room.

All of our properties are dog friendly, with fully fenced yards, dog bowls and beds and lovely grass and shade. Pups need a vacation too!
